Did you know that there's a FlatText inside every FlatLeader?
This means that you can use all of the FlatText tools, such as Edit, Revise, Adjust and Squeeze, on the text of a FlatLeader note. Just double-click on the FlatLeader so that it opens for editing, like any group. Then right-click on the FlatText inside the FlatLeader to get a pop-up menu that includes the FlatText tool commands.
I use this trick all the time when I'm annotating a drawing and the FlatLeader overlaps something I don't want blocked by the text. First, I Adjust the FlatLeader as well as I can. But if I still need a bit more room, I open the FlatLeader and Squeeze the FlatText itself.
Tricks like this make my drawings more readable, which makes everybody happier.
